I know that it's been a long time since I've posted. You all know that I do alot other than quilting, and I wanted to tell you about that, but somehow I found it difficult to write about it in a blog which were supposed to talk about quilting.

So after a long break, I've decided to start a new blog - Arctic Strawberries. I hope to see you there.

Where two worlds meet

In Kirkenes - where there's only 15 kilometres to the Russian borders, the worlds of eastern and western Europe meet. This is the place for Russian fishermen harboring in Sor-Varanger to watch news, reed Russian papers and have a touch of their homeland. They even operate with both Norwegian and Russian time.

Stage of the week

This week my stage is this one. A joint venture in Kirkenes, combining Norwegian and Russian military musicians for the first time ever, will result in a concert where we are on the stage together. If only this could be the standard way for military forces to resolve things.
